Garcelle Beauvais‘ latest career news is rattling fans.

On Tuesday, the Bravolebrity revealed she would be stepping away from her spot as a regular Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member.

“Hey guys, so I have some news,” Beauvais began in the March 25 video upload. “I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills. It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened and some hard things have also happened, but it’s been a ride nevertheless.”

The reality TV star’s fans couldn’t agree with her sentiment more, but her departure? They certainly weren’t ready for that.

“End of an era!” one exclaimed. “Thank you for being so open and refreshing. I will miss you on RHOBH but wishing you the best with what’s next! ❤️.”

“#RHOBH won’t be the same without you @garcelle!” gushed TV commentator Jawn Murray. “You came, you conquered & you left on your OWN terms! That’s how you do reality TV!”

“Using the platform to capture a new audience and build modern relevance, then departing on your own terms and announcing it in a sickening wig… Bravo, Garcelle. You did it right!” a different fan declared via X.

Another joked that she “might be one of the rare women to leave Housewives of her own volition.”

“Love you Garcelle! Beautiful inside and out and I’m excited for your next chapter ! 💃🏻💃🏻❤️❤️,” gushed RHOC‘s Heather Dubrow.

As for why she’s leaving the long-running series after five seasons, she offered a few motives.

“One of the reasons why I’m leaving is my family, my boys [Jaid and Jax],” she explained that their senior year of high school is next year and “I want to be a part of that.” She also said that Jaid’s new modeling career is reason for her to leave because she wants to “be a part of that too.”

“And secondly, I have the most exciting projects that I am developing, producing and acting and I can’t tell you anything right now,” she teased, “but you’ll know soon.”

The 58-year-old ended with a note of gratitude, “I just want to say thank you to Andy Cohen, to Bravo, NBCUniversal,” she went on, “the producers the crew and of course the ladies.”

“Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime, the door will always be open so you never know I might pop back in some time,” she quipped.

“To the fans I want to say thank you so much,” Beauvais said, clearly choked up. “You guys have cheered me on, supported me and sometimes even fought for me or on my behalf.”

“It means a lot and I hope you guys will continue on this journey with me,” she concluded. “It’s not goodbye, it’s see ya later. So see ya later.”
