Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva looked completely enamored with one another as they made a rare red carpet appearance with his eldest son, Homer James Jigme Gere, whom he shares with ex Carey Lowell, in New York City on Tuesday, April 22.
The family stepped out to support City Harvest—New York City’s “largest food rescue organization”—at its 2025 Gala, themed around Carnaval.
In a new video taken outside of Cipriani 42nd Street, uploaded to Instagram by videojournalist Mickey Blank, the Nights in Rodanthe star was seen walking hand-in-hand with his wife with the 25-year-old at their side. The men each wore blue suits with white button-ups, while Silva wore a navy gown with floral embroidery and a matching shawl with her hair styled into an elegant updo.
“A rare NYC appearance!” Blank captioned the video, which is truer than ever after their big move to Spain.
The family later posed on the red carpet, with the parents looking all loved up as they stared into one another’s eyes with soft smiles on their faces.
Meanwhile, Homer towered over both of them, smirking at the camera with his arm wrapped around his stepmother, who stood in-between the two.
