Robert Irwin concerned some of his fans online with the latest exploration video he shared on TikTok.
The 20-year-old son of the late Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin often thrills fans with the glimpses he shares into his life as an animal enthusiast and conservationist. But the latest video showing Robert gamely climbing into a dark cave put people on edge.
The video began with Robert spotting the cave while traveling along a river on a boat. After Robert pointed out the spot, the boat navigated across the water so that he could take a closer look. Once there, Robert assessed the outside of the cave before announcing he was “just going to pop my head up in it and see what’s going on.”
Robert went in head first, the rest of his body slowly disappearing into the dark behind him as he climbed all the way into the cave. Fans were relieved that it wasn’t long before his head suddenly popped up from around the top after finding a pathway inside.

“It comes out here. How cool is that?” Robert said. He quickly navigated back to the boat and hopped in, flashing a huge smile at the camera as he repeated, “That was cool.”
After Robert posted the video on TikTok on Saturday, Sept. 28, fans seemed to agree that while they enjoyed his enthusiasm about discovering something new, watching him vanish into a dark space without knowing what was inside made them nervous.
“This gives me such anxiety #besafe,” one TikToker wrote.

“Please be extremely careful just climbing into caves. At any moment it could give in,” one fan wrote as another echoed, “dang it kid be careful!”
“I would definitely get stuck,” one TikToker wrote.
“‘I’m just gonna pop my head in this cave’, will not be something I ever say 😂,” another laughed while one person admitted they were “pulling my legs back and getting nervous” while watching the video.
Aside from the concern that many fans expressed online, others shared more touching comments about how much Robert reminded them of his late father.
“I remember your father…you are JUST LIKE HIM!!! Which is more than a compliment..❤️,” one person praised as a TikToker agreed that Robert is “So much like his dad ❤️❤️.”
“Definitely like Father Like Son😎,” another fan commented.
