English rock band Oasis sent fans into nostalgia as the iconic group performed at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium for their highly anticipated tour.

On Friday, the legendary ’90s band kicked off the UK leg of their Oasis Live ‘25 tour, marking the long-awaited onstage reunion of brothers Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher after 16 years.

Among the songs that they played were “Supersonic,” “Morning Glory,” “Some Might Say” and, of course, their hits such as “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova.”

During the first night of the reunion tour, the emotional moment stirred strong emotion, particularly from a special member of the audience.

In a touching twist, Noel Gallagher’s daughter Anaïs Gallagher witnessed this in person and was determined not to miss the chance to see the legendary band perform.

In an Instagram story, she reposted a black-and-white photo of the duo as they took the stage together, along with a sweet message.

“Best. Night. Of. My. Life,” she wrote, expressing her overwhelming joy and deep emotional connection to the moment.

Besides her, Noel Gallagher himself couldn’t hold back his emotions and appeared visibly moved at the end of the concert.

Originally formed in 1991, Oasis is among the notable Britpop groups of the 1990s. The 58-year-old Gallagher is the main songwriter and guitarist, while his brother served as the charismatic frontman.

However, in 2009, Noel Gallagher announced that he would be stepping away from the band.

“It is with some sadness and great relief … I quit Oasis tonight,” he said during the Rock en Seine festival in Paris following a backstage fight.

As for their reunion, the band is set to perform in Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin during the summer of 2025.

Global fans can also catch Oasis live as they take the stage in countries including the United States, Mexico, Brazil and Japan.
