Fans were amazed by the “timeless” quality of the series of new photos that Salma Hayek shared with her Instagram followers in early October.
Despite the Friday, Oct. 4, date of the Instagram post, Hayek appeared to be fully immersed in the summer weather, with a desert landscape serving as the backdrop for her five-part post. Though the Frida star did not identify exactly where or when the snapshots were captured, people who commented on the Instagram carousel indicated they could practically feel the summer heat by the way Hayek held a hand up to protect her face from the sun in one image and pressed her arm against her forehead in another.

The post kicked off with a photo of Hayek, 58, wearing a gauzy black dress that had a colorful design woven around the neck and shoulders. She wore red and black slides and kept her hair out of her face in a high ponytail as she leaned against the side of a building, one cactus intercepting the left side of the image as another stretched up behind her. The sky was bright blue overhead, with no clouds in sight.
The second and fourth images included in the Magic Mike’s Last Dance actress’ post showed her wearing the same outfit at different angles, while the third and fifth photos showed Hayek wearing a lacy white dress that featured colorful detailing on the chest, skirt and sleeves. The final snapshot showed Hayek reclining, her eyes closed and one arm over her head as she took a moment to relax.
Several of Hayek’s fans praised the “amazing” and “fantastic” photos, with one person telling Hayek the snapshots were “Worthy of painting.”
“Wow! Love the simplicity of the background to make everything else pop,” one Instagram user noted.
“Super stunning ❤️,” another Instagram user agreed in a widely-echoed comment.
Some fans also weighed in on how youthful Hayek looked in the images, with one declaring, “This girl still in her 30s🔥.”
“She will forever be beautiful,” one person gushed about the “timeless” star.
“Aging like a fine wine..😍🔥,” a fan said of Hayek as another agreed she was aging “Like fine wine!”
