Yes, I’m one of those people who started baking bread during the pandemic, and I love it. Go ahead and call me a trend follower, but the kneading, proofing and adding that little score across the top before it goes into the oven just makes me happy. But here’s my whole thing—I’ve never once felt like I needed a dedicated bread oven. I’ve always told myself my trusty Dutch oven does the job just fine (and it truly does—shout out to the folks at Staub). It has the same steam effect, same crusty exterior, and the real bonus? No extra bulky bakeware fighting for real estate in my already overcrowded cabinets.

Except now Sam’s Club has gone and released a bread oven in the prettiest shade of pink, and suddenly I’m staring into my kitchen like, “Okay, but what if I reorganized?” It’s so charming and looks like it belongs in a chic European bakery. Or, at the very least, prominently displayed on my stovetop.

Tramontina 9.5″ Enamel Cast Iron Bread Oven, $47.94 at Sam’s Club

Sam’s Club’s Tramontina Enamel Cast Iron Bread Oven

Sam's Club

If you feel like you’ve seen the Tramontina 9.5-inch Enamel Cast Iron Bread Oven before, you probably have. Sam’s Club has introduced the beauty in a bevy of different colors, but never before in this stunning pink shade, which is what caught my attention.

Do I need it? No. Will my sourdough taste dramatically different? Probably not. But is it beautiful enough to justify a little cabinet Tetris? Absolutely. Sometimes the heart wants what it wants and, apparently, mine wants a pink bread oven.

The Tramontina bread oven comes in a matte pink finish with a chic gold knob. Previously it’s been available in cranberry, matte black, matte navy and latte, but all of those colorways have sold out.

According to Sam’s Club shoppers, this bread oven isn’t all style and no substance. They say it works great for baking up fresh loaves.

“It’s amazing,” says a shopper in their review on Sam’s Club’s website. “The perfect bread oven! When I bake sourdough, I preheat it for 15–20 minutes, and the bread is fully baked in just 25 minutes. I leave it covered, then uncover it for the last 5 minutes to get a beautiful dark golden color. I’m so happy I found this at Sam’s Club for such a reasonable price!”

Am I about to hit “add to cart” on this beauty? Yep. And you should, too, before this colorway sells out.
