The U.S. hotel industry recorded year-over-year growth in key performance metrics for the week ending June 20, 2026, according to CoStar. Nationwide occupancy reached 71.3%, up 1.2% from the comparable week in 2025. Average daily rate (ADR) increased 8.4% to $178.03, and revenue per available room (RevPAR) rose 9.7% to $126.86.
San Francisco posted the highest increases among the Top 25 Markets, with occupancy up 17.6% to 84.8%, ADR up 53.5% to $301.35, and RevPAR up 80.5% to $255.45. The city’s performance was supported by two World Cup matches and the Databricks Data + AI Summit.
Houston, which hosted three World Cup matches, reported the second-largest RevPAR gain, up 28.1% to $100.01. Seattle, host of two World Cup matches, posted the second-highest ADR increase, up 30.5% to $271.80.
Overall, 21 of the Top 25 Markets registered an increase in RevPAR compared to the same week in 2025.
