Saskatoon police arrest 6 people in drug trafficking investigation – Saskatoon

Police say they seized methamphetamine, cash and weapons and arrested six people in a month-long investigation into drug trafficking in Saskatoon.

Saskatoon Police said they carried out search warrants on Wednesday at addresses in the 400th block of Avenue I South and 20th block of Westview Place, and said a high-risk vehicle stop occurred at one of the locations.

Police found 361.24 grams of meth, $1,710 in cash, a severed 22-caliber rifle, ammunition, a tactical vest, and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

Together, the four men and two women, aged between 30 and 39, face multiple charges related to drugs, weapons and criminal proceeds, officers said.
