Quinn, who shares her 3-year-old son Christian Georges with Dumontet, opened up about her new life in Texas during a new interview with People, during which she gushed over starting with a clean slate and getting to live close to her family.

“I am really, really grateful to be living here,” she said in the story published Friday, Jan. 17. “I have a sister who lives really close to me, and my son has a cousin. So it’s really something that I needed as opposed to the chaos when I was in Los Angeles.”

Quinn, 36, married Dumontet in December 2019, before welcoming their son in May 2021. Last year, chaos erupted in her personal life after Dumontet was arrested in connection with an alleged domestic violence incident involving their son in March 2024.

He filed to divorce Quinn in April 2024.

After getting away from her old life, Quinn said her son has been “absolutely loving it,” while she has noticed a major change in the toddler’s personality.

“It’s just so crazy since I moved to Texas. I mean, he was literally a nonverbal child at three years old, which is pretty rare,” she told the outlet. “He went from that to being immediately enrolled in school, having other kids around him, being so talkative, being so extroverted.”

Quinn, who noted that her son has been in “intensive therapy,” added, “Children are a product of the effect of their environment. And hopefully, that’s kind of coming through now.”
