The Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino, the first four-star resort in Florida’s Lake Okeechobee region, celebrated its grand opening with performances by country music artist John Anderson, iconic rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd and traditional Seminole ceremonies.

The Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino, owned and operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, recently held its grand opening. This marked a significant occasion not only for the tribe but also for the region, ushering in a new era of entertainment.

The resort replaces the Seminole Casino Brighton, which opened in 1980, and now includes an expansive casino covering nearly 38,000 square feet. The casino features space for 640 slot machines, 18 gaming tables, and a smoke-free area with 104 slot machines and a high-limit gaming area.

The resort also houses the first hotel to open on the Brighton Seminole Reservation. The hotel includes 100 guest rooms, three suites, a fitness center, and an outdoor swimming pool. It also features an indoor event space and a bowling alley, a first for any Seminole Casino.

The Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino also houses four eateries: Josiah Steakhouse, EE-TO-LEET-KE Grill, Marketplace, and the Center Bar. Each establishment offers a unique dining experience, from comfort food to gourmet steak and from quick-service bites to high-energy bar entertainment.

The resort has become one of the largest employers in the Lake Okeechobee region, with over 500 team members. Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino pays homage to popular sportfishing sites near Lake Okeechobee.

The Seminole Tribe of Florida manages six Florida casino enterprises, including the Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel & Casino. The tribe has been recognized for its industry innovations and success. Seminole Gaming currently holds investment-grade ratings from primary rating agencies such as S&P Global Ratings and Fitch Ratings.
