Shawn Mendes is returning to his roots once again. The Canadian singer, originally from Pickering near Toronto, just announced a bunch of new North American and European concert dates, and of course, the city is one of the stops along the way.
The shows kick off in Kosovo on Aug. 2, with the Toronto concert scheduled for Sept. 28 at Budweiser Stage.
There are two other Canadian stops on the concert run: Montreal on Oct. 1 and Vancouver on Oct. 12.
“I feel like time away has allowed me to come back and recognize and remember how unbelievably special it is to get to play live shows. It’s an honour and I’m just beyond grateful that you guys keep showing up after 10 years with so much love,” Mendes shared via social media.
“I almost forgot I have one of the best jobs in this world. I wanted to ease into things at first and play a few shows in Europe and North America to start with… I love you guys so much,” the message continued.
As for tickets, presale tickets are available starting Wednesday, June 4 at 10 a.m. local time, and go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 6 at 10 a.m. local time.
The last time Mendes was in Toronto was in November 2024, playing an intimate show at Massey Hall, so if you missed out on getting tickets to that smaller performance, this is your chance.
