Shawn Mendes Sets Pulses Racing With Steamy Shower Shots

As Shawn Mendes fans eagerly await his fifth studio album, the singer treated his social media followers to a serious thirst trap.

The “Stitches” crooner, 25, took to Instagram on Tuesday, July 2, with photos of himself shirtless in an outdoor shower. 

In the three-picture update, Mendes shared no caption but indicated the snaps were taken in upstate New York. The first two pictures showed him facing away from the camera with water running on his head and flowing down his body. For the final shot, Mendes faced the camera while running his hands through his hair in an artistically blurry final snap.

In the comments, Instagram users practically swooned over the steamy show=wer photos. One fan wrote, “It just got hotter in New York 🔥,” while another commented, “Oh my god ????”

Rapper and DJ Diplo declared, “I just put down my sandwich and started fasting.”

Meanwhile, another fan referenced Mendes’ track, “Mercy,” writing, “OK have some mercy on us.”

“WHO TOLD YOU TO BE THIS HOT?” someone else exclaimed.

Still others predicted the pictures were a sign that the release of Mendes’ highly-anticipated new album was imminent. One commented, “It’s this month AAAAAAAAAAAA,” while another echoed, “He is coming this month 🔥.”

Mendes revealed via X in March that his fifth album was in the works, more than three years after Wonder dropped in 2020.

After sharing he will headline at the Rock in Rio musical festival in September, he added, “I’ve also been working on a new album and I can’t wait to play these new songs live for you.”

For fans’ sake, hopefully, the music will drop soon!
