These twisty mazes are crammed with monsters and traversal challenges, but they’re also full of helpful items and contextual notes that help illuminate what’s happening in Silent Hill f‘s story.
Below, see our Silent Hill f maps for the Dark Shrine’s exterior, entryway, and halls. The locations of some restorative items seem to change depending on your playstyle and difficulty levels. During testing, for example, we noticed that health items tended to appear more often if you regularly take damage in combat. In our experience, the items shown below will appear regardless of how you play. Just know you might find more bandages or painkillers depending on the circumstances.

The Shrine Path looks straightforward at a glance, but its twisting paths are tough to navigate in the dark. You’ll need to learn your way around pretty quickly, too. After clearing the shrine vault puzzle, Silent Hill f pushes you into a tense chase scene.

“Corridor” sounds straightforward, but this part of the Dark Shrine is anything but. A series of locked rooms and roundabout detours put you in the path of some new enemies. It’s a good idea to revisit nearby hokora after defeating them so you don’t have to redo these fights if anything goes amiss. The Worship Hall is a set of cramped rooms and hallways filled with enemies and puzzle doors. Pay close attention to the color of each door to plan your path efficiently and get out of here fast. Make sure to grab the notes and scribbles, too, as they’re integral for understanding Hinako’s memories.
