Sirata Beach Resort, located on St. Pete Beach in St. Petersburg, Fla., has completed a $25 million renovation and is now part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The property is situated between Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, directly on the beachfront.
The renovation includes updates to all 228 guest rooms, including 80 suites, with new furniture, fixtures, and furnishings. Many rooms offer beach or bay views. Guest room features include spacious bathrooms with walk-in showers and storage, power outlets and bedside charging stations, USB-equipped nightstands, premium bedding, high-speed Wi-Fi, dedicated workspaces with large desks and ergonomic seating, 55-inch flat-screen televisions with the Hilton Entertainment Package, in-room coffee bars, and various mirrors including illuminated vanity and full-length mirrors.
The resort’s public spaces have also been renovated. Dining venues include Rum Runners, an open-air restaurant with climate-controlled indoor seating, a 30-seat bar, and seating for up to 140 guests, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Blue offers a casual setting for lunch, cocktails, and all-day poolside dining, with menu items such as appetizers, salads, and sandwiches featuring local seafood.
The pool area has been refreshed and includes lounge areas, poolside service, a shallow wading area for children, and direct beach access. An outdoor social area is located between the pool and the beach, featuring seating, fire pits, and open-air gathering spaces.
The fitness center has been renovated and now measures 753 square feet. It is equipped with Peloton bikes, elliptical and recumbent cardio equipment, free weights, Life Fitness strength-training machines, resistance bands, and kettlebells.
Additional amenities include daily fitness classes, watersports, beach volleyball courts, pool and beach cabanas, family-friendly crafts and games, weekly live entertainment, complimentary beach and pool loungers, towels, boogie boards, noodles, and guest laundry facilities.
For meetings and events, the resort offers more than 30,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, including nine meeting venues, two ballrooms, multiple breakout rooms, a beachfront tent pavilion, and outdoor decks overlooking the Gulf.
