Slay the Spire 2 early access is coming soon, giving you the chance to experience this game as it grows to its final version. While it might look like just an upgraded version of its predecessor, Slay the Spire 2 will come with new features that change the roguelike deck-building formula. It doesn’t mean, however, that it’s abandoning the traditional solo runs fans of the first game love so much.
If you’re excited about starting the first of many runs to come, here’s when the Slay the Spire 2 early access will be released in your time zone.
What time Slay the Spire 2 early access releases in your time zone?

What’s different in Slay the Spire 2?
This new game gets you back to the Spire. After the events of Slay the Spire, where you reached the Spire’s heart, it remained dormant for 1,000 years. However, it’s back “hungrier and more dangerous than ever, devouring all who dare to ascend” according to the Slay the Spire 2 official site.
Slay the Spire 2 promises to deliver the signature solo deck-building experience from the first, but it also wants to allow more crowded runs. Adding a co-op mode to the game, Slay the Spire 2 gives you the option to form parties of up to four players.
When it comes to more specific changes, in the announcement trailer, the studio teases some of the additions it’s bringing with Slay the Spire 2. Three examples stand out: as explained by Jonathan Cook, cards may receive new buffs called “enchantments” that modify a card during a run; enemies can afflict your cards, adding negative effects to them; and a new type of card is coming to the game: Quest cards. During early access, Mega Crit announced the game will receive balance updates and new content, including cards, events, environments, and enemies.
