SpringHill Suites by Marriott has announced the opening of its new hotel in Orange Beach, Alabama. The property, located at 24224 Ruby Lane, features 120 suites and is operated as a Marriott franchise. The development was led by Eliot and Stuart Cohen of Cohen Investments, with management by Vista Host.
The hotel is located to provide guests with convenient access to beaches, dining, and outdoor activities in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. The suites are designed to offer more space than traditional hotel rooms, featuring separate living, working, and sleeping areas.
Key amenities at the hotel include:
- A resort-style pool designed for relaxation and social interaction.
- The Blue Heron Room, a 1,080-square-foot space for meetings and small gatherings.
- Salt & Sips, a poolside bistro offering cocktails and light bites, with a portion of proceeds supporting local conservation efforts.
- Complimentary daily breakfast, Wi-Fi, a 24/7 market, guest laundry facilities, and a fitness center.
Vista Host has appointed Matthew Sutherland as the hotel’s General Manager, bringing more than 20 years of hospitality industry experience. Cole Walker has been named Sales Manager, with previous experience at Visit Nashville.
The opening of the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Orange Beach Gulf Shores marks a strategic addition to the Gulf Coast hospitality market, aiming to attract both leisure and business travelers.
