One of my favorite Starbucks copycat recipes, this Copycat Starbucks Honey Almondmilk Flat White is so smooth and comforting, and it only calls for three ingredients. Although Starbucks makes it as a flat white—a stronger espresso-based type of coffee—I decided to make it as a latte since it’s easier to do so at home and, to me, more delicious. You won’t believe how simple this is to make for such a tasty result.

Starbucks has different types of espresso, and they use blonde espresso in this drink. I happen to use regular coffee since I don’t have espresso in the house, and sometimes, at night, I use decaf for this latte. It’s just as good, and I don’t think anyone can tell the difference. Whip this luscious drink up soon…you’ll be so glad you did!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed coffee or espresso, you can use decaf too
  • ½ to 1 cup steamed/frothed almondmilk, see simple directions below
  • 2 tsp honey, more if you like a sweeter latte
  1. Brew a cup of coffee. While that’s brewing, grab a mason jar or glass jar with a lid. (Remember to remove the lid before setting it into the microwave.) Steam/froth your milk in the microwave.
  2. When the milk is ready, add the honey to the coffee and stir. I poured the milk into a small pitcher, as seen in the photo. Gently pour the milk over the coffee. Stir gently, then take the leftover froth and spoon over the top of the coffee. That’s it! Sit down, relax and sip away. Slowly; it’s hot!
