“Starbucks is dropping TWO new Pink Bearista Glass Cups and if these come to the US it’s gonna be CHAOS to get one!” Snackolator predicted. The account continued, “While there’s nothing announced about coming to the US, the green cup went around the world, so it would make sense the pink variety might show up later as well.”
To conclude the update, they asked, “Would you want to get a Pink Bearista glass cup from Starbucks?!”
In November, Starbucks locations in the U.S. first released the green Bearista cups. Lines formed outside stores, which had extremely limited quantities, causing frustration among fans when they immediately sold out. The $30 cups were then resold online, with listings as high as $300.
“The excitement for our merchandise exceeded even our biggest expectations and despite shipping more Bearista cups to coffeehouses than almost any other merchandise item this holiday season, the Bearista cup and some other items sold out fast,” Starbucks told People. “We understand many customers were excited about the Bearista cup and apologize for the disappointment this may have caused.”
In December, Starbucks offered customers another chance to snag the original Bearista cups through its Starbucks for Life Merrython Game.
In the comments of Snackolator’s update about the pink-hatted Bearista cups, many fans were hesitant about the them coming to the U.S. One Instagram user wrote, “Thank God it’s Korea exclusive, we do not need this again 😂.”
Another shared, “Can’t wait for the fighting video on TikTok😂😂😂.”
Someone else pleaded, “Please, no more! 😭.”
A different follower echoed, Please, God, no. Free me. I don’t wanna deal with this again.”
Meanwhile, yet another fan begged, “Please, just stay in Korea, USA don’t know how to act with stuff like this!”
