BD Wong, who played Dr. George Huang, a psychiatrist with the FBI who often provided consultations to the NYPD, on Law & Order: SVU, is returning to his roots ahead of Election Day next month.

In a new collaboration with Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, the actor recorded a selfie-style video inspired by his former show, declaring himself a member of Kamala Harris‘ team as he decried her opponent Donald Trump’s criminal convictions.

“In the American political system, a presidential candidate who has been convicted of 34 felonies is considered especially heinous,” he began, spoofing the opening credits for the long-running procedural as the Law & Order logo slowly appeared on screen, followed by “Kamala Harris for President Unit.”

“In Washington D.C., a dedicated former prosecutor is challenging this convicted felon as part of an elite squad known as Kamala Harris for president, he continued. “This is her moment, and I am on her team.”

As Harris’ husband leaned into the frame to nod seriously in agreement, Wong happily added, “Oh, hey Doug!”
