As the country’s Swifties know all too well, Taylor Swift is bringing her Eras tour to Canada. And that means everyone lucky enough to get tickets is churning out friendship bracelets and mulling over their best fashion options for concert night.
Maybe you have the perfect Lavender Haze outfit in your closet, but aren’t sure that’s the right direction. Or like Heidi VanShaik, a mother of three girls in Waterloo, Ont., who conceived of the Tay It Forward campaign for Food Banks Canada, you’re going to make the final pick at the last minute. Perhaps you’re overwhelmed because you have so many cardigans you can’t decide.
Whatever Era you belong to, we think Swifties (and wannabe Swifties) will want to compare notes. So The Globe and Mail is asking Taylor Swift fans who are headed to the Eras tour in Toronto or Vancouver to send in selfies of them wearing their concert outfits before the big night.
Strike a pose on your own, or with your concert companions. Just wear your favourite Swiftie fashion, be your “best dress, Fearless,” or that trusty “old cardigan,” and share the story behind why you picked it.
