In a significant milestone, the Tapestry Collection by Hilton announced the opening of its 150th hotel at the end of 2024, underscoring a strong trajectory for future global expansion. The achievement includes inaugural hotel openings in Australia, Bonaire, Paraguay, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates, signifying a new chapter for the brand and its collection of independent hotels across 20 countries and territories.
The brand’s global footprint has grown by an impressive 50% over the past two years, increasing from 100 hotels in January 2023 to 150 in January 2025. The Tapestry Collection continues to offer unique and authentic stay experiences across new destinations worldwide, including The Motley Hotel Richmond in Australia, Palmaroga Hotel Asuncion in Paraguay, Tumbi West Palm Beach Hotel in Dubai, Metropolis Suites in Bangkok, and Delfins Beach Resort in Bonaire.
Elizabeth Scruggs, a 14-year Hilton veteran, was announced as the new global brand leader for the Tapestry Collection. Her extensive experience in various roles within the company is expected to be instrumental in shaping the brand’s future success.
The Tapestry Collection is anticipated to continue its rapid growth in 2025 and beyond, creating new opportunities for guests to immerse themselves in diverse destinations. The brand is on track to have the most significant number of openings in a year, with over 40 new hotels planned for 2025. Furthermore, 40% of the development pipeline is in international destinations, with upcoming debuts in Turkey, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, and Italy, and more than 60 hotels planned for development beyond 2025.
