Whether you like to wear trousers to work or for a nice dinner, a classic pair of dress pants always comes in handy. But sometimes you want pants that are a little different than normal and stand out (but not in an obnoxious way). Well, one of Target’s pleated trousers is exactly that. Plus they’re similar to Express and Ralph Lauren styles that are almost 11 times the price.

We’re talking about Target’s Women’s High-Rise Wide Leg Pleated Front Trousers by their in-house brand, A New Day, which are currently $32. They’re available in two colors, gray and navy pinstripe (the black is currently out of stock). The product’s name pretty much explains their design: they’re high-rise pants with wide legs and a pleated front. These pleats are prominent and at the top of each leg.

Target

These pants are made with 92% rayon and 8% polyester fabric and have a “regular fit.” They also have a fly hook and zipper closure, side pockets and belt loops. Plus they’re “full length” which, for some shoppers, is the perfect feature.

“Tall girl friendly!!” one reviewer wrote. “Thank you for making something for the tall girls! You can always tailor something shorter, but I can’t make fabric appear. I’m 5’9 and have plenty of length. Love!”

Others commented on how much they “love the length” too. On the flip side, though, some commented that these are just a little too long for them, though they did say they were “super cute pants.” But hemming pants just isn’t in the cards for everyone.

Stylist High Waisted Pleated Wide Leg Pant, $88 at Express

Express

These Target trousers are similar to the Stylist High Waisted Pleated Wide Leg Pant at Express, which currently retails for $88. As its name suggests, it has the same high-waisted, wide-leg design and has a similar exaggerated pleated front. They seem like they could be a little sleeker, but they’re very similar. They’re fully made out of polyester, with 64% recycled polyester and 36% polyester fabric.

Wool-Blend Wide-Leg Pant, $348 at Polo Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren

Target’s trousers are also similar to the Wool-Blend Wide-Leg Pant by Polo Ralph Lauren. They’re the most expensive pants on this list, costing $348. These are mid-rise, not high-rise, pants, but they are wide-legged and have pleats on the front. These are also made from mostly wool—97% wool and 3% elastane—so they’re going to feel a bit different. But, look-wise, they’re on par with Target’s pants.

So if you’re looking for a nice pair of dress pants that are tall-girl friendly and unique, Target’s Women’s High-Rise Wide Leg Pleated Front Trousers are definitely worth checking out.
