Target Is Selling a 'Perfect for Fall' $22 Velour Dress That's Guaranteed To Fly Off Shelves

It’s easy to see why a fun velvety material like velour is often associated with autumn. Even if it’s not in a darker color (though it often is), the texture is warm without being too warm, which is great for your fall wardrobe. Lucky for the fall fanatics out there, Target has a new velour halter dress that is “perfect for fall,” and affordable.

We’re talking about the Women’s Velour Halter Mini Dress by Target’s in-house brand, Wild Fable. It’s currently $22 and comes in two colors: burgundy and brown leopard spot print. Its name is pretty self explanatory: it’s a tight-fitting short dress with a tie-halter neckline. This velvet mini bodycon dress is made with mostly recycled polyester and 5% spandex. It comes in a good size range, from sizes XXS through 4X online.

Women’s Velour Halter Mini Dress – Wild Fable, $22 at Target

While this dress would be perfect for the club, it’s also not just for the much-younger crowd. Even though it’s a tighter dress, it hugs the model in a way that it isn’t skin-tight and can leave room for more occasions (not just the going-out kind). The halter tie that ties behind the beck also leaves a fun ruching the neckline. Because of this, of course, it’s a sleeveless dress with a scooped back. And again, its length is described as “mini” but it seems to hit at the upper thigh on the model.

So far this velour mini dress only has four reviews and ratings, but it does have 5 stars and shoppers have favorable things to say already.

“Super Cute Little Halter Dress,” one person titled their review. They then wrote: “I bought it in my usual size in the [burgundy] and love it so much I immediately bought it in the Lepoard Print too. I love a halter dress especially with a tie neck. The Velour is super soft and comfy. Highly Recommend”
