Taylor Swift addressed her plans after releasing her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, clarifying her next move in music.

With her 12th studio album making headlines, fans around the world are celebrating yet another milestone for the pop superstar.

Amid all the excitement and fanfare, the music sensation opened up about her honest take on the possibility of hitting the road for another tour.

While the Eras Tour was a huge success globally, Swift admitted that touring again is not in the cards in the near future.

“No, no. I’m gonna be really honest with you,” she told BBC 1 Radio’s Greg James, adding, “I am so tired, when I think about doing it again … because I’d want to do it really well again.”

The 14-time Grammy winner kicked off her first Eras Tour in March 2023 in Glendale, Arizona and performed it across five continents for nearly two years, concluding in Canada in December 2024.

With a total of 149 shows, it not only captured the hearts of her fans worldwide but also shattered sales and broke records.

The Eras Tour earned over $2 billion in ticket sales, became the highest-grossing music tour ever and was officially recognized by Guinness World Records.

In addition to this, Swift’s concert surpassed Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in 2023 with a gross of $939.1 million and six million tickets sold.

Not only was it the first billion-dollar music tour, but the Eras Tour drew over 10 million attendees worldwide.

As her interview with BBC Radio 1 continues, the “Cruel Summer” singer revealed how she “had so much fun” on that tour.

“Obviously, it was the most exhausting challenge ever…physically, but I’ll never forget seeing what I saw,” she said.

Moreover, the 35-year-old superstar shared a little-known secret about what she sees and feels while performing on stage.

“I can see everyone from the stage,” Swift revealed. “I don’t think they know that. I have an incredible vision. I can see their experience. Their joy and that fed me. It fueled me even when I was exhausted and tired.”

She also expressed deep gratitude to fans who showed their massive support for the almost two-year tour.

“For me, it feels such an honor that the fans made it into what it was,” she explained, adding that the tour exceeded her expectations in ways she hadn’t imagined.
