What if we told you she’s back? Taylor Swift has officially broken her months-long social media silence.
The pop hitmaker, who hasn’t posted on her Instagram page in over three months, put an end to the streak on Saturday, March 22, while taking to her Instagram Story for a very special reason.

Swift, 35, shared the post in order to hype up her bestie Selena Gomez‘s new album with Benny Blanco, I Said I Love You First, which the couple just dropped on Friday, March 21.
Sharing a screenshot of the cover for Gomez and Blanco’s album on Spotify, Swift wrote, “I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDDD.”

Fans online were quick to applaud Swift’s support of her best friend, including one user on X (formerly Twitter) who called it “True bestie energy.”
“queen supporting queen,” someone else gushed.
“Taylor going full caps lock fan mode for Selena and Benny’s album is such classic ride-or-die bestie energy,” another person echoed.
But in addition to the sweet gesture for Gomez, fans were also excited by Swift’s choice to return to social media after months of staying quiet.
The last post on the “Karma” singer’s Instagram grid is the farewell post to The Eras Tour, which she shared back in December 2024.
After attending the 2025 Grammy Awards and Super Bowl LIX last month, Swift has been keeping a noticeably low profile.
She also opted to skip the 2025 iHeart Radio Music Awards this month, only appearing in a video message to virtually accept the Tour of the Century Award.
Fans aren’t sure if Swift’s silence is just her taking a well-deserved break after a very eventful year, or if it means she has something big in the works, in which case, her fans are definitely “Ready For It.”
