Toronto Swifties got a big shoutout from Taylor Swift herself, who seemed nothing short of “Enchanted” by their support and energy.

The singer-songerwriter kicked off her Toronto Eras Tour last night at the Rogers Centre, drawing thousands of fans and packing the stadium with ecstatic Swifities.

During the show, Swift took a moment to gush about her Toronto fans, and the compliments just didn’t stop coming.

“We’re going to bring the Eras Tour to a close, which we are, in nine shows,” Swift said in a TikTok video posted on November 14.

“I was thinking, you know, I really want to spend those last shows with the most generous, encouraging, welcoming, passionate, excitable fans. So we came to see you in Toronto.”

Her words were met with excited cheers from the audience.

Of course, the show also couldn’t resist an opportunity to poke some fun at Canadians.

During the song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” a TikTok clip shows Swift’s dancer Kam Saunders saying, “Sorry aboot it,” in an exaggerated Canadian accent, causing Swift to laugh.

Last night marked the start of Swift’s six sold-out shows in the city, and it’s clear the singer has nothing but love for her Toronto fans.
