Even though Taylor Swift and Matty Healy only dated briefly in 2023, their short-lived affair continues to make headlines.

After a recent report in The Sun stating that Healy will address the couple’s relationship on his next album with The 1975, the singer shared a mysterious response on social media.

According to a source, Healy apparently recorded a song with the lyric “Keep your head up, princess, your tiara is falling,” which is said to be about Swift, as the U.K. newspaper reported.

In a thread on a The 1975 Reddit group, Healy seemingly responded to the rumor using his verified account, writing, “Huge if true.”

Of course, Healy’s comment isn’t an official confirmation, but as fans on Reddit noted, the lyric is the same as a caption Healy shared on Instagram in 2021.

“Keep your head up princess, your tiara is falling 💫🌸👑,” he wrote alongside pics of himself in a recording studio wearing a balaclava.

While Swift and Healy have been acquainted for years, they didn’t start seeing each other romantically until early 2023 (shortly after Swift and Joe Alwyn ended their long-term relationship).

In June 2023, an insider told Us Weekly that the couple had parted ways after two months.

“Taylor and Matt are no longer romantically involved,” the source said. “They had fun together, but it was never serious.”

When Swift released The Tortured Poets Department in April 2024, their relationship became a topic of discussion again, with many speculating that some of the songs were about Healy.

Healy is now engaged to model Gabbriette Bechtel, while Swift has been dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for over a year.
