Taylor Swift’s love language might involve carbs, but no one’s complaining.

During a night out in Los Angeles on Friday, January 9, the pop star was spotted leaving the Bird Streets Club with her inner circle, with each friend clutching a carefully wrapped loaf of sourdough bread. Among the recipients were the Haim sisters—Este, Danielle, and Alana Haim—plus the singer Sombr, all photographed heading out with a loaf of sourdough in hand, complete with Swift’s signature handwritten labels.

It’s presumed the sourdough gifts were handmade by the 36-year-old, as Swift has been openly deep in her baking era, especially since wrapping her Eras Tour a little over a year ago. During an August 2025 appearance on New Heights, hosted by her fiancé Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, Swift admitted her hobbies skew a little…historical.

“I’d say all my hobbies could be categorized as, like, hobbies you could have had in the 1700s, you know? Like, I get all my granny s**t,” she joked, before confessing, “We’re very deep in a sourdough obsession that has taken over my life.”

She didn’t stop there. “The sourdough’s taken over my life in a huge way. I’m really talking about bread 60 percent of the time now,” Swift said, explaining that she regularly texts friends asking for feedback on different loaves and baking techniques.

Travis, for his part, seems fully supportive of the bread-fueled lifestyle. On the December 31 episode of the podcast, he revealed one of his favorite gifts to give the 14-time Grammy winner this year: a bread slicer. “Because she’s been throwing together so much f**king sourdough,” he said, adding with a laugh, “Gosh. I’ve got the best gut health there is. I love you, Tay.”

The couple, who began dating in mid-2023 and got engaged in 2025, also celebrated their third Christmas together—this time as fiancés. While Kelce teased that Swift’s holiday gift to him is staying “in house,” it’s clear her homemade touches are very much meant to be shared.

And if you’re in Swift’s friend group, apparently that includes sourdough to-go.
