Teddi Mellencamp isn’t letting her ongoing cancer battle dim her smile.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is still smiling in her latest selfie alongside her brother, Hudson.
The siblings are looking especially similar lately with matching buzzed haircuts, aviator glasses and big toothy grins in a photo seemingly snapped by Teddi herself.
Teddi captioned the sweet snap, writing, “Love my brother. In total @hudmoney form he came to support me for my appt but then slept through it. He made it up to me by losing in a game of SORRY after. Love you hudson jimothy.”
As for why she doesn’t just shave all her hair off, instead leaving visible bald patches, Teddi explained that she still has some bald patches where radiation took out all of the hair and it just hasn’t grown back yet.
Teddi wrote, “So I shave these parts that grow every couple of weeks. I can’t do it every day.”
Teddi has been sharing her cancer journey openly on social media as she continues to battle after a melanoma diagnosis in 2022. In March, she made an alarming update, telling fans that her cancer had spread to her brain and lungs, leading to emergency brain surgeries to remove as many tumors as possible. Unfortunately, they weren’t all able to be removed via surgery.
The Two Ts in a Pod co-host is undergoing immunotherapy, which Teddi “couldn’t wait” to tell fans about a few weeks ago in another Instagram reel detailing her journey. She excitedly revealed the tumors had “significantly shrunk” and explained that doctors are optimistic that her recent results indicate that she will soon be cancer-free.
