Tennis superstar Aryna Sabalenka’s US Open victory may have grabbed headlines, but it’s her selfie obsession that’s now stealing the spotlight.

The Belarusian player, who recently secured back-to-back US Open titles, gave fans a glimpse into her New York City adventures after the tournament.

In an Instagram post, she thanked a luxury New York hotel for a “beautiful stay” and for indulging her nonstop snapshots.

“Thank you @stregisnewyork for a beautiful stay and for putting up with me taking selfies absolutely everywhere (especially in the elevators),” she wrote along with a ton of her elevator shots showing off her outfits.

The carousel of photos also included Sabalenka’s boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis.

Speaking of her beau, the post not only captured the attention of her followers, who gushed about how chic and stylish her outfits were, but also Frangulis, who dropped a hilarious comment teasing her about her “selfie” obsession.

“I didn’t realize my new nickname is ‘selfies’,” he said, as a funny way of saying that her constant snapshots have practically become part of their relationship.

His reaction captured the attention of Sabalenka’s followers, with one commenting, “boyfriend on duty.”

A fan joined the fun and completed his name, saying “surname ‘reflection.’”

Meanwhile, the tennis champion laughed off his playful jab and said, “Ahaha, sorry meu amor.”

Since their relationship began in 2024, Frangulis has been a constant supporter of the four-time Grand Slam winner and was also present during her match at the US Open.

Who Is Aryna Sabalenka’s Boyfriend?

The reigning queen of tennis not only shines through her career achievements but is equally candid about her romance.

Sabalenka previously spoke about Frangulis, whom she described as her source of support as she coped with her grief from her ex-boyfriend Konstantin Koltsov, who died by suicide.

“There was a really tough period where I was really happy to have him by my side, always cheering me up, always making sure that we are doing some fun stuff,” she told PEOPLE in 2024.

The Brazilian businessman is the founder of a superfood brand called Oakberry, where the tennis icon served as brand ambassador.

Founded in 2016, the company specializes in açaí products and has gained popularity through its açaí bowls and smoothies.

Like his girlfriend, he is also into sports and adventures, particularly motorsports. He has competed in 128 races of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge, as reported by Driver Database.
