The One of a Kind Show is back for its winter edition, and it’s the place to be if you’re interested in finding unique, Canadian-made gifts for family and friends ahead of the holidays! Running from this Thursday until Dec. 1, there will be over 650 vendors bringing their incredible art, clothes, jewelry, crafts and more for you to shop.

Enjoy a Swedish Christmas fair

This weekend, while the kids make Swedish crafts and taste gingerbread, get a head start on holiday shopping, with traditional crafts, books and food items at the Swedish Christmas Fair. There will also be a traditional Lucia procession, Swedish folk dancing, glögg (a traditional spiced wine punch), the Swedish Book Corner and so much more to enjoy Scandinavian holiday classics.

In Toronto, the official beginning of the holiday season is often marked by the Santa Claus Parade! Beginning at Christie and Bloor streets at 12:30 p.m., check out the route and head over early to snag a front-row spot bring some fold-up chairs and bundle up so you can stay warm and ready for the arrival of Santa!

Stand-up comedian Sebastian Maniscalco is bringing lots of laughs to the stage with him at Scotiabank Arena this Friday and Saturday. His record-breaking It Ain’t Right Tour has already been extended in 2025, and if his comedy specials are any indication, his Toronto stop is going to be plenty of fun!

Shopping for any nature lovers this season? Try the Toronto Botanical Garden’s Holiday Market, running this weekend from Friday to Sunday and Dec. 13-15, with over 60 local vendors to shop from. The event also includes a cozy outdoor campfire, winter workshops, holiday-themed selfie stations, live music and local food vendors for a full day of fun!

Take in the holiday magic in Yorkville

Watch thousands of lights spring to life and set Yorkville all a-glitter. The always-spectacular Yorkville Holiday Magic official lighting ceremony takes place on Saturday and includes traditional carollers in Victorian-era attire as well as performances onstage by Rêve and special guest Nicolina.  

Get a Taylor Swift education from Choir! Choir! Choir!

If you already saw Taylor in concert last weekend and want to continue the magic or you never managed to snag a pair of those elusive tickets, don’t miss Choir! Choir! Choir!’s Eras! Eras! Eras! performance on Sunday. Toronto’s famous community choir is running a Taylor Swift sing-along event on Sunday as well as Nov. 25-26 — this one is said to be “Cruel Summer”-themed.
