The Bachelor is casting and they want you, Canada!

Yes, the beloved TV franchise is looking for a new group of hopefuls who are ready to fall in love. The best part? Canadians of all ages can apply because not only are they looking to fill spots for The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, but also for The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette, meant for men and women of senior age.

If you aren’t interested in applying yourself but know someone who would be perfect, there’s an option to nominate someone, too. Nothing screams romance quite like a friend surprising you with the news that you will be fighting for the attention of someone you don’t know.

How to apply for The Bachelor

Applying is simple but there are a few requirements in order to do so.

All applicants must be at least twenty-one years of age at the time of applying and legal residents of either the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec).

Anyone who is applying or being nominated also must never have been convicted of a felony or ever had a restraining order entered against them.

If you’ve checked all the boxes, you’re good to go. From here, choose from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, The Golden Bachelor or The Golden Bachelorette.

  • Why would you like to be on the show?
  • Are you genuinely looking for love and why?
  • How many serious relationships have you been in and how long were they?
  • What are your relationship dealbreakers?
  • What is a typical day like for you?

Two recent photos of yourself (face/selfie and full-body) and a photocopy of your driver’s license or photo ID will need to be included, too.

There’s also a space to add all of your social media handles.

So, if you know someone interested in being part of The Bachelor franchise casting, or if you’re ready to dive into a love-filled adventure yourself, you know what to do.
