As of this writing, both quests where you help Valentina rob Fletcher Kane’s personal safe have a chance to be bugged. If the quest is bugged, Valentina will not move toward the safe, and you won’t be able to progress further in the found and story quest.
Epic Games is currently looking into the bug, but they recommend players to be the first player to talk to Valentina and “get briefed” in a match. It can be pretty hard to talk to Valentina first with competitors rushing to complete the quest, so here are a couple alternatives that have worked for other players:
