On Friday afternoon, Canada kicked off its first match of the World Cup against Bosnia-Herzegovina at Toronto Stadium. The contest ended in a 1-1 draw, with Canada’s tying goal coming courtesy of striker Cyle Larin for an exciting start to the global sports tournament.

Amongst a sea of fans decked out in red and white (and some in blue), a number of supporters commanded attention with retro jerseys, DIY accessories and creative ensembles. Here are the best fan outfits spotted outside the stadium.

Micheal and Andrew Gekas coordinated their outfits for the game. Andrew, who was part of the promotional campaign for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, lost his glasses from that tournament, but replaced them so the pair could continue matching.
