Keep count of your vacation time because the best places to visit in Canada in 2025 have been revealed by an American media and publishing company, and they are all stunning.

US News & World Report released its list of Best Places to Visit in Canada for 2025, and there are plenty of spots in the country to add to your list.

The list was created through a combination of factors such as “affordability, entertainment options and diversity of hotels and resorts, as well as user votes and expert opinions.”

The best places to visit in Canada in 2025 are as follows.

10. Prince Edward Island

US News & World Report pointed to Prince Edward Island’s rolling green hills, sandy beaches, red sandstone cliffs and a delicious bounty of seafood, making it a must-visit destination in Canada in 2025.

9. Whistler

The publication says thanks to Whistler being such a big resort town, it’s the perfect winter escape for fun, boasting everything from cross-country skiing and snowboarding to bobsled rides and bungee jumping.

8. Whitehorse

Whitehorse was added thanks to its expansive wilderness and natural attractions, touting Miles Canyon as a key landmark to visit.

7. Toronto

The city’s multicultural makeup was cited as a big reason it landed on the list, with cultural pockets like Greektown, Little India and Koreatown all within city limits, with the Ontario capital having the ability to “transport visitors around the globe.”

6. Vancouver

Vancouver’s ample amount of outdoor activities was a key reason why it was included, with the chance to hit up Grouse Mountain, Kitsilano Beach, and stroll through the sprawling Stanley Park.

5. Victoria and Vancouver Island

Bursting with laid-back vibes and charm, Victoria made the cut by offering visitors the chance to go for afternoon tea, a tour of the Parliament Buildings or a history lesson at the Royal BC Museum.

4. Montreal

A visit to Montreal isn’t complete without taking in Old Montreal, and it’s easily the best chance to get Europe vibes without leaving the country. It even has its own Notre-Dame Basilica, a grand Gothic Revival-style church that offers self-guided tours along with an evening sound and light show.

3. Niagara Falls

We mean the reason is pretty obvious, with Niagara Falls being a dazzling site to see in Canada. It’s a staple of Canadian locations, and if you are feeling really adventurous, view the falls from above during a helicopter tour.

2. Quebec City

Bursting with stunning centuries-old buildings that make up Old Quebec, the city allows you to take in a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the process and so many great restaurants, too.

1. Banff

The town is a great spot thanks to being nestled within Banff National Park, allowing for plenty of skiing and hiking, along with the chance to visit Moraine Lake and Lake Louise.

Banff is no stranger when it comes to international recognition, with Conde Naste also touting it as a top place to visit in Canada in 2025.
