Canada’s largest premium picnic, the beloved Rosé Picnic, is set to return to Toronto this July with new additions and a brand-new location.

Mark your calendars for July 12, when the annual Rosé Picnic will bring food, music, live entertainment, and more under one metaphorical roof.

Be sure to rock that pink and white to stay in theme with the event and get ready to snap some pictures. There’s a lot to go over, so let’s get into it.

Where will it be located?

New for this year, the picnic will be hosted at the 25-acre heritage property Toronto Film Centre. It’s located at 2489 Bayview Ave. According to organizers, it’s a sought-after location for Hollywood North film and TV productions.

The estate has served as a backdrop for Starz’s series American Gods, CBC’s The Great Canadian Baking Show, BBC’s Orphan Black, and more.

Food and drink

What’s a party without great food and even better drinks? Once again, the Rosé Picnic has teamed up with Barbados Tourism and is the official destination partner of the event. That being said, internationally acclaimed chefs Javon Cummins and Trevon Stoute will be on site, alongside award-winning mixologists Philip Casanova, Rhea Cox and Alex DaVinci from Barbados who will bring the Caribbean flavour in every bite and sip.

There will also be a variety of culinary partners and food trucks.

As for what you will be sipping on, enjoy some of the best rosé wines from Ontario and beyond. There will also be custom cocktails, as previously mentioned, and ready-to-drink options.

Expect free sampling stations, gourmet food pairings, and more. Just note, this is a cashless event.

Now for the vibes, direct from Barbados is DJ Jus Jay King, who will be spinning the hottest tracks, with a style that blends Afrobeat and Caribbean beats. Award-winning DJ and producer DJ Fizza will also take over, blending genres from hip-hop, R&B, house, and Top 40.

Rain or shine, dress to impress and get ready to party. Tickets can be purchased online, but hurry before they sell out.

See you there.
