There’s nothing quite like a dinner roll to round out a really good meal. Beyond being a staple on southern Sunday dinner tables, soft pillowy morsels of dough have become the ultimate pre-dinner accouterment at restaurants like Texas Roadhouse and O’Charley’s, making it the expected opener to any delicious celebratory feast. Whether you prefer the good-as-homemade taste of Sister Schuberts, the buttery, cheesy quality of Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits or the soul-warming taste of your grandma’s famous recipe, the options for yeast-risen biscuits and dinner rolls span the gamut.

That being said, it’s hard to top the signature crave-able sweetness of squishy soft King’s Hawaiian Dinner Rolls, and lately, they’ve been venturing outside of the world of rolls altogether to deliver delectable new twists on the classic dinner table staple. From using them to make a sweet and savory grilled cheese sandwich to slicinh the entire tray in half to make pull-apart sliders or simply using them to sop up the liquid gold pot liquor swimming at the bottom of your plate, there are a multitude of ways to enjoy the delicacy that is King’s Hawaiian Rolls. But what if you didn’t have to wait for dinner time to get your sweet and savory fix?

Now, you can snack on King’s Hawaiian Soft Pretzel Bites whenever the craving hits, and Costco super fan @cotcosaisles is sharing all the details. These ridiculously poppable soft pretzel bites are made using the signature sweet King’s Hawaiian dough, shaped into pretzel nuggets, and topped with crunchy crystals of salt. The resulting snack is both sweet and savory with the satisfying squishy chew that Hawaiian rolls are known for. Each 1-pound pack holds nearly 10 servings of pretzel bites, which equates to about 60 pieces. And if you’re counting calories, these are decidedly low, with one serving working out to just 170 calories total.

Best of all, the entire pack will only set you back $8.49, so you can easily grab two without breaking the bank. When it comes to the response from fans, the reviews were mixed, with some saying, “SO delish😍” and others declaring, “I didn’t like these ☹️”

Of course, taste preferences are purely subjective, and for less than $9, what do you have to lose? Pro-tip: Heat these in the air fryer and dip them into melted nacho cheese for an even better experience. You can thank us later.
