The Toronto Blue Jays are coming into the 2025 season with a simple message: “Lights up. Let’s go.”

Today, on their social media platforms, the organization unveiled a hype video showcasing what appears to be a new team slogan for the 2025 campaign.

The video shows shots of the Blue Jays and fans throughout Toronto and the Rogers Centre, with home runs and high-intensity plays scattered across the 60-second clip.

With a narrator dishing out lines like “no matter where you’re watching, or how you’re watching, what happens in here is felt by us all out there,” it’s an easy way to drum up some fan excitement with the regular season less than three weeks away.

Over the years, Blue Jays slogans have been historically pretty snappy, typically two or three words.

“To The Core,” “Next Level,” “Let’s Rise,” “Come Together,” “Love This Team,” and “Hustle and Heart” have all been used by the team over the past decade-and-a-half, typically lasting for a year or two.

Offside has reached out to the Toronto Blue Jays for further comment on the slogan and more information about the campaign.

Toronto is hoping for a better fate this year compared to last, after finishing the 2024 campaign with a 74-88 record that put them in dead last in the American League East. The team is eyeing their first playoff win since 2016, going 0-6 in their last three trips to the postseason.

While spring training records typically have no real correlation with regular season success, the Blue Jays currently sit 10-6, which is the best record of any team in the Grapefruit League. Toronto has 12 spring training games left before making the trip up north when the games begin to count for real.

The Blue Jays home opener is set for March 27 at the Rogers Centre against the Baltimore Orioles, with the first pitch being 3:07 p.m.
