Did you hear, Toronto?

Happy hours to enjoy even if the World Cup is over

Okay, so the fun of running to your closest bar to catch a FIFA World Cup match is now over. That’s fine, we’re fine. But that doesn’t mean mid-week meet-ups with the crew should be out of the question. Happy Hours exist, people! And if you want a few suggestions, which I am sure is why you’re here, check out Waterworks.

There are three bars, each with its own vibe. Waterworks Bar has a happy hour deal from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., which is ideal for afterwork hangs; Civil Works has $14 cocktails and $12 wines Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.; Grape Witches has rotating natural wines, ciders, and rice lager and 20% off bar snacks, Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Road trip to Elora for some good food

So this isn’t IN Toronto, but it’s worth a weekend road trip – perfect for the group chat. On Aug. 1, 2026, internationally acclaimed Chef Miles Pundsack-Poe is heading back to Elora to open Foxy’s Tapas, Cocktails & Bodega.

It’s located inside the historic Ayrshire Hotel. Fantastic option for those looking to explore Ontario’s food scene – which, let’s be real, is unbeatable!

Peruvian festival in downtown this weekend

If festivals are on your radar, make your way to Sankofa Square this weekend and celebrate Peru’s Independence Day. Free entertainment, delicious eats and the best energy. If the weather is right, it’s going to be an unforgettable weekend. After all, your crew deserves a fun weekend out. It’s all going down Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26 from noon to 8 p.m.

Super Yummy Night Market to take over waterfront

So apparently I am deep into the food scene cause we have another night market you need to know about. Super Yummy Night Market is taking over the waterfront on Saturdays, starting this weekend. It’s bringing bold flavours from Filipino BBQ at Hangouts Foods, momos from Himalayan Momo, pizza from Heartbroken, and so much more.

On top of that, there’s an exclusive Secret Menu with each vendor offering a unique item priced at just $5. I’m already hungry.

Sunset Salsa Presented by Olé Cocktail Co., is back!

Now, it’s time to stretch your legs and get your dancing shoes on. Sunset Salsa is back at The Well this August. For the next four Saturdays (Sept. 12 included), the dancing event will offer 45-minute salsa lessons from a different instructor each week. It starts at 4 p.m., and then DJs will take over until 9 p.m. Think salsa, bachata, and cha-cha music. Olé Mocktails and cocktails will be available for sampling and purchase at the Pier Bar, along with food from Gus Tacos.

It’s first-come, first-served!

And that’s all we have for you today! We’ll be back next week with more fun in Toronto.
