THE BARAI HUA HIN is located on the Khao Takiap coastline in Hua Hin. The resort features 98 guest rooms and suites, including 27 suites and two two-bedroom penthouses. Originally opened as a spa 20 years ago, the property has been expanded into a resort. Architect Lek Mathar Bunnag designed the resort, incorporating shaded corridors, sculptural forms, courtyards, and water features. The property includes two pools: the Forest Pool at the center of the resort and the Beach Pool overlooking the Gulf of Thailand.
Higher-category suites offer butler service, terraces, in-suite rituals, and daily massage inclusions. THE BARAI Spa, named after ancient reservoirs, features pools, courtyards, stone passageways, and quiet spaces. The two-story Wellness Hub includes a 24-hour fitness studio, yoga studio, holistic zone, and wellness shop. Wellness programs are based on the elements of earth, water, air, and fire, and include pathways for women’s health, sleep recovery, back care, longevity, emotional wellbeing, and heart health. The Wellness Hub is overseen by CM.D. Chuthamat Srinoi.
Dining options include White Cottage, which serves breakfast, seafood, plant-forward dishes, and Thai-inspired flavors, and McFarland House, located in a restored 19th-century beachfront pavilion, offering Modern European cuisine, grilled meats, weekday afternoon tea, and Sunday brunch.
Nearby attractions include Kui Buri National Park, Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, and Phraya Nakhon Cave.
THE BARAI HUA HIN is the first property in Thailand to be part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. The brand is expected to expand with additional properties, including Cayo Levantado in the Dominican Republic and The Clayfield in Canada.
