The Vanguard Hotel Opens in Ann Arbor as part of the Autograph Collection

The Vanguard Hotel, a Marriott Bonvoy’s Autograph Collection member, has announced its grand opening slated for May 6, 2025. The hotel was developed and is owned by Robert Finvarb Companies and Milford Singer & Company.

The Vanguard Hotel is strategically located adjacent to the University of Michigan. It aims to offer an upscale, full-service lifestyle experience that respects the heritage of the city’s esteemed university while presenting top-notch hospitality. The hotel features 188 guestrooms, including 24 one-bedroom suites, with select suites offering private patios and luxury lounge seating. Guests can expect high-end amenities like Dyson hairdryers, Le Labo bath products, and in-room espresso machines.

The culinary heart of The Vanguard is La Serre, a French-inspired brasserie that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. The restaurant offers an extensive wine list and two private dining rooms for intimate gatherings and special occasions.

The Vanguard also provides state-of-the-art meeting and event spaces, making it ideal for university-affiliated gatherings, corporate retreats, and weddings. The hotel’s event facilities span 11,062 square feet and feature floor-to-ceiling windows that offer stunning views of Ann Arbor.
