Summer has arrived, which means the ladies on The View are taking some time off!
Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin are leaving Hot Topics behind for a little bit.
The View fans shouldn’t be too surprised when they tune in to see reruns as the show’s annual holiday break begins. Fourth of July week always marks the beginning of The View’s hiatus.

It’s not all bad news for The View fans. According to Entertainment Weekly, the break will be shorter than some other TV shows take in the summer. New episodes of The View return on Monday, July 7.
Goldberg will be back at the table after taking the week before the break off to spend time in Italy. The actress made an appearance on the Italian soap Un Posto Al Sole.
Repeat episodes of The View will include interviews with Hugh Jackman, Olivia Munn, Amanda Peet,Kit Connor,Michael Gandolfini,Angela Bassett,Laurence Fishburne, Geri Halliwell, and Marsai Martin.
When Behar, Haines, Hostin, Griffin, Navarro, and Goldberg return to The View table after a week off, they will have plenty to talk about. The July 4th holiday always brings lots for the ladies to dish on during Hop Topics.
The View airs weekdays on ABC.
