The Webster to Open Hotels in London and New York in 2026
The Webster has announced the opening of The Webster Covent Garden, London, in July 2026 and The Webster Times Square, New York, in Winter 2026, with bookings now open for the London property.
The Webster will debut its new lifestyle hotel brand with two openings in 2026: The Webster Covent Garden, London, in July and The Webster Times Square, New York, in Winter. Reservations for the London property are now available, with rates starting at £350.
The Webster Covent Garden, London, will be located on Lincoln’s Inn Fields and is described as being connected to the area’s literary and creative heritage, referencing Charles Dickens’ association with the neighborhood. The Webster Times Square, New York, takes its name from the historic Webster Hotel, which hosted Gabriel García Márquez in 1961.
Both properties are designed bythe London-based architecture and interior design studio Red Deer. Guestrooms will feature neutral palettes, plank flooring, hand-knotted wool rugs, brass and alabaster light fixtures, Marshall speakers, Jacob Jensen phones, classic alarm clocks, hand-selected books, mid-century style chairs, bespoke artwork, and custom-patterned drapery. Bathrooms will include terrazzo flooring, organic ceramic wall tiles, brushed-nickel Kohler fixtures, and illuminated mirrors.
Public spaces at both hotels will include flexible gathering areas, intimate lounges, and library nooks. The London property will feature an outdoor lounge for all-day use, serving morning pastries, lunches, and evening cocktails, and will incorporate terrazzo flooring and a variety of furniture.
The Webster Covent Garden, London, will feature three dining and drinking venues: Carmelina’s, an Italian-inspired restaurant and speakeasy on the lower level; a café and aperitivo bar in the lobby and on the terrace; and Carla’s List, a late-night venue offering craft cocktails and dancing.
At The Webster Times Square, New York, Maison Premiere will introduce a dining and nightlife concept.
Both hotels will offer cultural programming and events, including literary salons, artist residencies, performances, and neighborhood collaborations.
