If spooky season is your favourite time of year, Fright Nights is a must-visit in Vancouver. And you can get paid to be on the other side of the show, helping to bring the daunting, terrifying experience to life.
Billed as Vancouver’s scariest Halloween experience and the “largest haunt in Western Canada,” Fright Nights is an annual series transforming Playland into an immersive event filled with haunted attractions galore. This year, the series will terrify PNE visitors on select nights from Oct. 3 to 31, 2025.
Right now, the PNE is looking for skilled performers and artists from a variety of backgrounds, including dance, music, ground circus acts, side show acts, fire performances, singing, magic, aerial performances, improv, and more.
“We want to see performers who are passionate about their craft, who make the unthinkable happen, and aren’t afraid of anything but themselves,” says the PNE in a call for artists post. “This is your time to shine, come show us what you got!”
How to apply
Ready to shoot your shot? Interested performers have until May 21, 2025, to submit their materials to [email protected]. When you apply, make sure to title your subject line “AUDITION – YOUR NAME.”
Applications should include headshots, a CV, acting descriptions, and photos.
Acts should be kept to five minutes maximum to be considered.
According to the post, only selected individuals will be invited to the live audition on May 27, 2025.
Good luck!
