There’s a holiday sip and shop happening at Canada’s biggest year-round market

12 November 20252 Mins Read

Holiday sip and shop? Say less. St. Jacobs Farmers Market, also known as Canada’s largest year-round market, is transforming into a holiday sip and shop experience, meaning you can enjoy an adult beverage while you stroll and check out some of the best local vendors.

According to St. Jacobs Farmers Market, “On Friday, Nov. 21 and Friday, Nov. 28, all three of our market buildings will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., creating the perfect holiday shopping experience.”

For the two evenings, the entire property will be licensed, and if that wasn’t enough to fill you with holiday cheer, there will be live seasonal music happening both evenings, too.

Don’t forget to grab a photo with Santa, or take a break and relax by one of the fires stationed around the market.

St. Jacob’s beloved regular vendors will be there, as well as new artisan vendors, coming in especially for the event.

You will need to buy tickets to attend the sip and shop. Admission costs $8 per person, and tickets can be purchased online in advance.

I can picture it now: A spiked hot chocolate in hand, a chill in the air, holiday tunes playing. It’s the perfect outing with friends or date night with a loved one.

Happy shopping!
