Time to hit the water! Tobermory is a popular spring and summer destination in Ontario, boasting crystal clear blue waters.

The water is so clear that you’re able to check out some pretty sweet sights, including shipwrecks. Yep, we actually have a bunch here in Ontario. Blue Heron Cruises offers a glass bottom boat cruise so you can get up close and personal, without having to leave the vessel.

The boat cruises are taking to the water for the season now, so here’s what to know before you go.

There are a couple of options to see the shipwrecks via the glass bottom boats, including the Flower Pot Island Drop Off Tour.

You’ll start your boat journey heading to the beautiful Flowerpot Island, with that leg of the tour taking around 45 minutes. The two world-famous Flowerpot rock formations are a photo opportunity you won’t want to miss out on.

From there, you can spend up to three hours on the island before your 20-minute cruise back to Tobermory.

According to Blue Heron Cruises, the shipwrecks can be seen along the way.

Another option is the Stay Aboard Scenic Cruise, which also visits the shipwreck and Flowerpot Island, but with passengers staying aboard the whole time.

These cruises run daily, all you need to do is book your time slot. For adults, depending on which cruise you book, prices start at $54.95 per guest and can go up to $69.91. Youth tickets start at $46.11. Children under three can ride for free, but a ticket is still required.

Be sure to book a spot before it fills up, and to snap some pics, Ontario!
