Did you get a kick out of the Nikon Comedy Wildlife Awards? We certainly did, and that’s why we thought we’d bring you some more jaw-droppingly gorgeous shots of our planet’s lovely wildlife.

The winners of the Bird Photography of the Year Awards were announced back in September, and photographers from all over the world submitted more than 23,000 images – 23,000 images – for a chance to win the £3,500 grand prize.

Winning shots were recognised by either bronze, silver or gold in a handful of categories, and we’ve got a roundup below of all those group winners – enjoy!
