These Are The World’s Best Airlines, According To The Telegraph, Canada Reviews

There are so many airlines out there, and so many rankings comparing everything from their cost to the quality of inflight food – sometimes you just want someone to tell you which are pretty good overall, and that’s where we come in. 

has reported on various airline rankings recently, from the ones by Travel + Leisure and CN Traveller to the World Airline Awards. However, few have conducted analysis as in-depth as this roundup by The Telegraph. 

Assessing everything from legroom and punctuality to the age of the fleet and the reach of the network, the paper has analysed 90 airlines (on which Brits are most likely to fly) across more than 30 criteria, and now we’ve got some pretty comprehensive insight. 

It might not shock you to learn that Emirates was ranked as the world’s absolute best airline, thanks to it scoring well across the board. Spacious legroom, generous baggage allowances, a reputation for punctuality and top-quality service are all obvious hallmarks of a solid airline, and given it serves all of the above, Emirates cruised to the top of this ranking. 

Qatar Airways flew into second place, and Singapore Airlines followed in third. What’s more, all of the top three rankers made the top five in each of those other rankings (above), too. Gotta love consistency!
