Cruise Route: Peterborough to Kingston
The journey begins in Peterborough, where passengers can spend the day exploring before boarding behind the Peterborough Holiday Inn. The Kawartha Voyageur remains docked there for the night before setting off for adventure the next morning.
Day 1: Peterborough to Healey Falls
The cruise sets off before breakfast, heading down the scenic Otonabee River, surrounded by giant willow trees, lily pads, and sleepy turtles. The voyage traverses Rice Lake, known for its domed islands reminiscent of ice ages past.
After passing through Hastings, the journey continues down the Trent River, finishing off day one with an overnight stay at the stunning Healey Falls near Campbellford – one of the region’s most scenic spots.
Day 2: Healey Falls to Frankford
The second day continues down the Trent River, passing through the charming town of Campbellford. Some more exciting locks lead to Percy Reach, a remarkable river-widening spot with tons of fish and waterfowl to watch. The day ends with an overnight stay near Frankford.
Day 3: Frankford to Picton

Day 4: Picton to Gananoque
Leaving the Bay of Quinte, the cruise continues along Adolphus Reach and the North Channel behind Amherst Island. Soon the journey enters the St. Lawrence River for an afternoon cruise concluding at Gananoque, a charming little town and a gateway to the Thousand Islands region.
Day 5: Thousand Islands to Kingston
