For most people, the holiday season is about tradition. Some rituals might include holiday-themed movies; buying gifts for loved ones; or even just treating yourself to something fantastic.

For others still, holidays are built around being altruistic. And if you count yourself as one of the people who like to give back around that time of the year, then there’s one experience you definitely won’t want to miss out on.

Gingerbread Families, an initiative of Good Earth Coffeehouse, is back this year for another round of sweet community support.

From now until December 31 (or until supplies last), the Gingerbread Families gift bag is available at each Good Earth Coffeehouse location across Canada.

With each purchase of a gift bag — which contains 3 adorable gingerbread cookies, perfect for gifting… or snacking — $1 is going straight to local food banks.

This year, Good Earth Coffeehouse’s aim is to sell 12,000 Gingerbread Families. Which means, there’s a potential of $12,000 that will be going to help Canadian communities. Imagine how special it’d feel to be a part of that contribution.

Better still, imagine how special it’d feel to continue a tradition that’s nearly three decades long. That’s right: Good Earth Coffeehouse’s commitment to Canadian communities has been ongoing for the past 30 years.

With your help, the tradition — and helping to ensure Canadian families don’t go hungry during the holidays — can continue.
